About the role

The Project Coordinator will play a critical role in supporting the National Dengue Control Program (NDCP) in the operationalization of the Wolbachia project by establishing and maintaining collaborative efforts with the Provincial Dengue Committee made up of representatives from the PHD, Operational District, local authorities, and selected principals in Battambang province.
The coordinator will also coordinate with PHD/OD/health center staff to conduct community engagement activities, monitor the incident management system, facilitate community engagement surveys and Wolbachia deployment including data collection for introgression analysis, and collaborate closely with CNM's finance team to produce programmatic and financial reports for submission to CHAI.
Additionally, the coordinator will supervise a team of two staff based at the Battambang PHD.

Requirements

Knowledge and experience in health systems.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and quantitative and qualitative analytical capabilities.
Excellent communication skills in English and Khmer, including the ability to create compelling, logical presentations using PowerPoint and other tools, and demonstrate a structured and assured oral and written communication style.
Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Prior experience working with the Cambodian government at the subnational level, particularly with provincial and district health authorities.
Knowledge of dengue and/or other major global infectious diseases.
Proven experience in establishing teams and/or scaling up field operations.
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to develop and apply quantitative models using Excel and other tools to address specific challenges.
