• The Kinship Care Officer is responsible for supporting community events and relief efforts to assist beneficiaries with their needs, providing them resources, and facilitating lifestyle programs.
• This role involves coordinating with participants, suppliers, and sponsors for funding and promotions.
• The officer also manages the budgeting and allocation of resources for the programs, ensuring that activities adhere to state regulations and community benefits.
• Key duties include leading the development of family strengthening programmes, assisting in the development of programme activities and budgets, and identifying partner organisations.
• The role requires following KC strategy and plans in cooperation with the Direct Supervisor, KC Coordinator, KC co-ers, and other stakeholders.
• Initiating family strengthening programmes in line with agreed plans and objectives is crucial.
• Building good contacts with families and children is essential to develop good relationships.
• Learning about the backgrounds, the situation of the family, and the problems of children and their causes is also a core responsibility.
• Providing advice to families to improve the security and comfort of a child’s health, nutrition, and care is vital.
• Monitoring and technically supporting children’s families in the community for better knowledge improvement is required.
• Concentration on the Family Development Plan (FDP) of each family, checking and collecting data, and compiling files are also key tasks.
• Working closely with the Commune Committee for Women and Children (CCWC) and strengthening Community Based Organizations (CBOs) and maintaining good relationships with local authorities and other NGO partners are important aspects of the role.

Must have good communication and organizational skills, especially in writing progress reports and transactions.
