We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Project Coordinator to support delivery, and facilitate growth, of WWT’s conservation and development programme in Cambodia.
The position holder will act as the central coordinator for two or more Cambodia Projects, with key functions to include team leadership, budgeting, monitoring, production of scientific outputs, safeguarding, stakeholder relations, quality control of technical outputs and liaison with WWT colleagues in Cambodia and researchers in the UK.
They will need to step up to Scientific Coordinator when the Senior Project Manager is away.
Act as the focal point for WWTs to manage the linked to the project’s existing and future outputs and acting as a standing member of the Project Management Team.
Oversee the day-to-day management of the project for its effective and efficient implementation.
Support the development of wetland-friendly agricultural systems that improve community livelihoods while contributing to habitat conservation objectives.
Coordinate the design and implementation of potential lotus or other livelihood interventions, including production, processing, value addition, development, and market access initiatives.
Facilitate value chain assessments, market studies, and partnerships to strengthen producer access to local and national markets.
Coordinate regular monitoring of livelihood project outcomes (such as adoption of regenerative farming practices, and impacts on household income) and the impact of those livelihood on wetland health and biodiversity.
Manage the inputs of the project team, and support the staff consultants, and contractors engaged in the project activities to deliver quality outputs and outcomes in a timely manner.
Prepare and maintain project management tools (plans, operational procedures, monitoring and evaluation plans etc). Support in facilitating all procurement bidding process, procurement committee in the selection of appropriate suppliers and contractors, to promote good procurement practice in regard to sustainability, ethical purchasing standards Draft terms of reference for consultants / third parties to be engaged during all project phases.
Ensure quality control of internal and external project reports.
Liaise regularly with the Country Manager and the Senior Project Manager and prepare first drafts of monthly, quarterly and annual reports to donors (as required).
Ensure responsible and transparent management of financial and physical resources.
Coordinate with WWT technical staff and partners from Cambodia and UK, based on plans developed by the assigned technical staff.
