Primary School Teacher Grade 5

The Primary School Teacher Grade 5 is responsible for organizing and implementing effective teaching to develop students' knowledge, skills, abilities, and attitudes. The teacher must create a safe, enjoyable, and encouraging classroom environment that promotes active student engagement in learning. Responsibilities include

• Planning teaching and learning.
• Preparing lesson plans, teaching materials, and activities suitable for the curriculum, student level, and needs, using teaching methods that promote analytical thinking, problem-solving, creativity, and collaboration.
• Teaching and developing students' learning abilities by teaching according to the school curriculum and learning plan, using student-centered methods, encouraging participation and expression, and providing appropriate support to develop reading, writing, math, research, and self-learning skills.
• Managing the classroom and creating a safe, orderly, and respectful learning environment by implementing classroom rules, managing student behavior positively, and monitoring student attendance and participation.
• Assessing and monitoring student learning by preparing and implementing regular student assessments, recording and tracking academic performance, providing constructive feedback, identifying students needing additional support, and collaborating with relevant departments to improve student outcomes.
• Supporting overall student development, including intellectual, emotional, social, moral, and physical aspects, by encouraging confidence, responsibility, and independence, and collaborating with stakeholders to provide appropriate student support.
• Collaborating with parents and the community by maintaining professional communication and collaboration with parents, providing information about student learning, progress, and behavior, attending parent meetings, and responding to questions or concerns according to school procedures.
• Managing classroom documents and administration by accurately and promptly managing attendance records, student information, lesson plans, assessment results, and other classroom administrative documents.
• Developing professional teaching skills by participating in training, workshops, and professional development programs, seeking and implementing new teaching methods, accepting feedback, and sharing experiences to continuously develop professional knowledge and skills.
• Participating in school activities and development by participating and collaborating in school programs, events, meetings, and development activities, supporting school projects, and implementing school policies, regulations, and culture.

• Expected Candidate Profile: Educational Level: Bachelor's degree in Education, Pedagogy, or related field.
• Skills and Knowledge: General and Technical Skills: Previous experience teaching primary school, especially Grade 5, will be given special consideration.
• Good knowledge of teaching methods and classroom management.
• Proficiency in preparing lesson plans and student assessments.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or educational technology.
• Adequate English language proficiency for the job.
