The Senior Water Engineer will provide technical leadership, mentoring, capacity enhancement, and monitoring support to ensure interns are well equipped to perform assigned tasks and that host PWOs and consulting firms receive practical technical support.
The Senior Water Engineer will lead the technical delivery of the internship program by guiding interns, supporting host PWOs and consulting firms, developing and implementing the capacity enhancement plan, and ensuring that internship activities contribute to improved technical performance, professional learning, and safe placement conditions.

លក្ខខណ្ឌតម្រូវការងារ

Demonstrated technical experience in one or more of the following areas: water treatment operations, distribution net assessment, non-revenue water assessment, pumping systems, utility operation and planning.
Experience providing technical guidance, supervision, mentoring, or coaching to junior engineers, interns, or technical staff.
Ability to translate technical issues into practical recommendations for PWOs and interns.
Good understanding of place safety, risk management, and safe working practices in operational water supply environments.
Strong communication, facilitation, and report-writing skills in Khmer.
Working knowledge of English for coordination, reporting, and communication with CAPRED is desirable.
Commitment to gender equality, inclusion, safeguarding, place safety, and professional ethics.
Experience working directly with private water operators, public utilities, or water supply service providers in Cambodia.
Experience designing or delivering technical training, mentoring programs, internships, or capacity-building activities for young engineers.
Practical experience in climate-resilient water supply planning, water source assessment, energy efficiency, or infrastructure improvement planning.
