Assist the Production Manager in developing, scheduling, and executing daily and weekly production plans.
Monitor production output, track KPIs, and ensure targets are consistently met or exceeded.
Coordinate material availability with procurement and warehouse teams to prevent production downtime.
Adjust production schedules in response to shifting priorities, machine breakdowns, or supply disruptions.
Supervise production supervisors, line leaders, and frontline operators across one or more production shifts.
Conduct daily briefings, assign tasks, and ensure clear communication of production goals and safety standards.
Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of new production staff.
Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching, feedback, and development support.
Collaborate with QA/QC teams to enforce compliance with quality standards and specifications.
Investigate and resolve product defects, non-conformances, and customer complaints in a timely manner.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, 5S, Kaizen, or Six Sigma methodologies.
Identify process bottlenecks and recommend solutions to enhance throughput and reduce waste.
Champion a safety-first culture on the production floor at all times.
Ensure all operations comply with local regulatory requirements, EHS policies, and ISO standards.
Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
Ensure all team members are properly trained on safety protocols and use of PPE.
Prepare and present daily, weekly, and monthly production reports to senior management.
Maintain accurate production logs, downtime records, and labor utilization reports.
Act as a key point of contact between production, engineering, maintenance, and quality teams.

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Management, or a related field.
(A Diploma with extensive experience may be considered.) Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
At least 2 years in a supervisory or team leadership role.
Proven track record of meeting production targets while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Working knowledge of production management systems (ERP/MES such as SAP, Oracle, or similar).
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement tools.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting and analysis.
Understanding of GMP, ISO 9001, or other relevant quality management frameworks.
