About the role

Material Quality Control: Inspect quality, conduct sand moisture content tests, sieve analysis, and check raw materials against technical standards. Prepare summary reports on received raw materials daily. 2. Trial Mix & Production: Perform trial mixes to determine concrete strength according to client needs or technical standards. Monitor the mixing process at the Batching Plant to ensure consistent concrete quality. 3. Site Quality Assurance: Inspect concrete quality upon arrival at the site (measure slump), and monitor the actual amount of concrete poured. Provide technical consultation to clients before concrete pouring to prevent technical errors. Intervene and resolve immediate technical issues at the construction site when concrete is abnormal. Manage the assignment of QC teams and technical laborers at each construction site. 4. Laboratory Management: Oversee the casting of test blocks, demoulding, and tracking of test blocks in and out of the construction site daily. Conduct compressive tests on concrete blocks on schedule and record concrete strength results accurately. Monitor concrete quality during pouring and record data. 5. Analysis & Reporting: Prepare technical reports and sales quality reports. Prepare detailed reports for concrete technical issues at construction sites to find corrective solutions. Prepare reports on the technical activities of mixer and pump trucks.

Requirements

Cultural Level: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related technical diploma.
Experience: At least 1-2 years of work experience in a concrete laboratory or at a Ready-Mix Concrete (RMC) Plant.
Technical Skills: Deep understanding of concrete standards (e.g., ASTM or ACI).
Proficient in using concrete testing equipment and knowledge of concrete mix design formulas.
Ability to analyze raw material quality (Sieve Analysis, Moisture Content).
Attention to Detail: Extremely meticulous in checking figures and production timing, as concrete is a time-sensitive product.
Character and Appearance: Meticulous, robust (able to inspect sites personally), and honest in reporting test results.
Communication Skills: Ability to resolve issues at the construction site and explain technical principles to clients effectively.
Computer Skills: Proficient in using Microsoft Excel for particle size charts and graphs to clearly present concrete strength.
