About the role

Support analytical, technical, and operational activities in Cambodia.
Conduct structured literature reviews and targeted research on climate risk and vulnerability, protected area governance, biodiversity conservation, nature-based solutions and ecosystem-based adaptation.
Support quantitative and spatial analysis, including field survey where applicable.
Synthesize findings into outputs aligned with PAD-III reporting standards.
Support preparation of technical reports, analytical papers, policy briefs, and advisory notes.
Contribute to decision-support tools and systems.
Ensure all outputs are evidence-based, clearly structured, and accessible to non-technical audiences.
Assist in the planning and facilitation of multi-stakeholder consultations and technical shops.
Support coordination with government counterparts, NGOs and local communities.
Participate in field missions, including data collection, validation, and community engagement activities.
Participate in structured cross-country learning exchanges between Cambodia and Vietnam intern cohorts.
Contribute to joint knowledge products or comparative analysis drawing on both landscape contexts.
Engage with ICEM's regional technical net and knowledge management systems.
Document programme activities, lessons learned, and case studies.
Support internal knowledge management and reporting.
Assist in producing clear, concise communication materials for diverse audiences.

Requirements

This internship offers an excellent opportunity for a recent master's graduate to gain practical experience while contributing to the implementation of climate-resilient protected area and landscape management initiatives. ing closely with ICEM's technical team, the Project Intern will support project delivery and contribute to high-quality technical outputs.
