About the role

The implementing partner will closely work with 20 Agriculture Cooperatives with existing 18,803 households and expansion to new an additional 2,171 households in the implementation period.
The CVCD project aims to support 15,850 additional smallholder farming households with current active 47,941 households earning sustainable living income by 2028.
The CVCD project will focus on 4 result areas: Strengthening Farmer-Led Organizations and Locally Led Development Systems; Scale Climate-Smart, Regenerative, and One Health Production Systems; Enable Inclusive, Market-Oriented Value Chains and Financial Access; Strengthening Enabling Systems, Partnerships, and Evidence-Based Policies.

Requirements

Specialized local NGO in the priority area related Agricultural Value Chain (in Livestock and/or Horticulture and/or Aquaculture), Enterprise Development or Economic Community Development, Food system strengthening, Institutional capacity strengthening.
Experienced in strengthening capacity of the Agricultural Cooperatives.
Experienced in working to promote inclusive, youth and women engagement in community development.
Experienced in building locally led development and nationally connection/neting.
Head Office or Representative Office based in one of the provinces under the project coverage.
Performance records or with NGO Governance & Professional Practice (GPP).
Financial performance records from internal and/or external audit reports.
Demonstrate cost effective and cost-efficient approaches (structure, quality program and coverage).
