Direct daily fleet routing, dispatching, driver assignments, and shipment tracking to ensure ontime delivery (OTD) across all Cambodia routes.
Direct, mentor, and evaluate dispatchers, route planners, driver coordinators, and administrative staff.
Implement continuous training programs covering transport management systems (TMS), defensive driving, customer service, and loading safety.
Partner with Account Managers to meet key performance indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for enterprise clients.
Act as the primary escalation point for delivery delays, cargo damage, or transport disruptions, providing swift root-cause analysis and preventive solutions.
Generate and present weekly and monthly operational and service performance reports to key clients and internal executives.
Ensure full compliance with Cambodian road traffic laws, ministry of transport mandates, axle weight limits, and customs/border-crossing documentation requirements.
Implement Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) protocols, vehicle inspection checklists, and cargo securing procedures.
Lead investigations into traffic accidents, cargo loss, or claims, maintaining full documentation for audits and insurance policies.
Monitor and manage operational budgets, focusing on fuel consumption, toll fees, fleet maintenance expenses, and subcontractor rates.
Negotiate competitive rates and contracts with third-party truck owners, maintenance vendors, and equipment suppliers.
Audit operational invoices, fuel logs, and driver allowances prior to finance approval to prevent cost leakage.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 3 to 5 years of progressive experience in logistics/transportation operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role within a 3PL or trucking environment.
Demonstrated track record managing multi-modal or fleet-based transport nets within Cambodia.
Proficiency in Transport Management Systems (TMS), Fleet GPS Tracking tools, and ERPs (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or local equivalents).
Deep understanding of Cambodian transport infrastructure, key shipping corridors (e.g., Phnom Penh, Sihanoukville, Siem Reap), and customs/traffic regulations.
Advanced skills in MS Excel for cost analysis, route optimization, and operational reporting.
Native Khmer speaker with strong professional English communication skills (written and spoken).
Proven ability to troubleshoot transport emergencies under pressure.
Strategic approach to vendor management and conflict resolution.
Strong interal skills to manage diverse teams, ranging from truck drivers to C-level executives.
