Responsible for leading, supervising, and coordinating the daily operations of the accounting team (AR & AP), ensuring that financial record-keeping, cash flow management, debt collection, and tax payments to the government are accurate, honest, transparent, and in compliance with accounting standards.
Management and Supervision of Accounting Operations: Leading, guiding, and supervising the daily work of the AR Accountant and AP Accountant to ensure they perform their tasks according to company procedures.
Reviewing the registration of purchases and sales, invoices, and recording all financial transactions into the accounting system (e.g., QuickBooks, QuickBooks Online or company ERP system) accurately and timely.
Reconciling bank balances with actual cash in the company and dental clinic on a weekly and monthly basis.
Reviewing various expense payment requests before forwarding them to the department director for approval.
Debt Management (Receivables and Payables): Monitoring and urging the AR Accountant's work in collecting payments from external dental clinics that are regular clients to reduce overdue accounts.
Reviewing and verifying the accuracy of terms for importing goods from abroad and payments to suppliers with the AP Accountant to maintain good business relationships.
Resolving any disputes or irregularities in the data of overdue invoice codes or revenue between the company and clients/partners.
Cash Flow and Financial Management: Preparing daily and weekly cash flow plans and monitoring them to ensure the company has sufficient cash for business operations and inventory purchases.
Managing and supervising the use of petty cash for the administration department of the company and clinic.
Assisting the department director in preparing annual budget plans for each department.
Reporting and Tax Operations: Preparing and closing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including Profit & Loss (P&L) and Balance Sheet, in a timely manner.
Preparing and verifying tax data, and cooperating with tax agents or filing monthly and annual tax declarations to the General Department of Taxation accurately according to state law.
Preparing and gathering necessary financial documents to cooperate with external auditors during audits.
