The Assistant Manager

• Finance incumbent will be fully accountable for end-to-end accounting, tax, financial operations, and compliance for EWCB. This role ensures accurate financial record-keeping, timely reporting, strict adherence to Cambodian tax laws and internal controls, and smooth day-to-day financial flows. The role serves as the primary finance liaison for local operations, external authorities, and auditors while actively supporting the Finance Manager
• EWHMTD EWCB with financial analysis, planning, and operational decision-making. This position reports directly to the Finance Manager (EWHMTD EWCB) and a dotted line reporting the Country Manager EWCB. Accountable for day-to-day accounting transactions, ensuring accuracy and integrity across GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, cash/bank management, and inventory accounting. Oversee and process timely payments, invoice processing, and debt collection. Ensure strict compliance with Cambodian tax regulations, including accurate calculation, filing, and submission of monthly and annual tax returns (VAT, WHT, TOI, etc.). Coordinate internal and external audit processes for the Cambodia entity and implement audit recommendations. Maintain accurate inventory calculations, gross margin tracking, and financial database records. Maintain up-to-date documentation and ensure compliance with internal accounting standards and policies. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management report packages for review by the Finance Manager (EWHMTD & EWCB). Assist in monitoring financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying key variances and operational insights. Ensure full compliance with local statutory reporting requirements and group reporting timelines. Maintain complete, organized, and audit-ready financial records and documentation. Support the Finance Manager

• Experience with accounting software (SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar) and advanced MS Excel skills.
• Good understanding of operational processes, cost controls, and financial variance analysis.
• Fluency in written and spoken Khmer and English High integrity, strong sense of responsibility, and ability to independently in a separate legal entity environment.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven track record of meeting tight financial reporting deadlines.
• Good interal and communication skills to collaborate effectively across cultures and functions.
