About the role

To coordinate the implementation and management of the livelihood activities that will promote the conservation and REDD+ projects of Lomphat Wildlife Sanctuary, manage the livelihood team, and ensure the projects’ outcomes are met.
Ensure on time and adequate activities implementation to meet the projects’ outputs.
Conduct or facilitate livelihood assessments and project planning meetings with communities and project staff.
Provide ongoing technical and advisory support to community members, local authorities, and relevant stakeholders on livelihood improvement and sustainable natural resource management.
Develop and deliver training programs to build the capacity of community members and project staff on relevant livelihood and conservation topics.
Monitor and evaluate the progress and impact of livelihood activities, collect data, and prepare regular progress reports.

Requirements

Master's Degree in natural resource management (NRM), livelihoods development, social sciences, development studies or geography.
Project management for 3 to 5 years.
Proven project management and leadership skills.
Ability to function well in a multicultural, diverse, and fast-paced team environment.
Comfortable working in rural communities with minimal facilities.
Comfortable managing multiple duties and adapting to changing priorities.
Good understanding of the rural development scene in Cambodia, livelihood issues and their linkage to conservation.
Computer literate (especially in Word and Excel).
Shows initiative and is trustworthy.
Very good spoken and written English.
Good ability in monitoring and evaluation.
Ability to work under general supervision and take initiative to solve problems under supervisor direction particularly respect of deadlines.
