Consultancy Services for Development of a Standard and Systematic e-waste Inventory in Cambodia, and Map Material Flows with GIS and Flow Modelling Tools and Identify Leakage

• Develop an integrated data management system that will provide information on the e-waste value chain.
• Develop an e-waste inventory and database in partnership with the relevant private sector and enforcement agencies.
• Map and analyze stakeholders along the value chain, including women and men in informal waste management, women’s CSOs, and national gender machinery.
• Review national and international e waste inventory practices using a gender and social inclusion lens to identify gaps and opportunities for gender-responsive and socially inclusive e-waste practices, including data on mobile EEE (phones, tablets, laptops, and desktop computers, second-hand products, Hg-containing batteries, and POPs, mercury, and other toxic chemicals found in e-waste).
• Provide spatial and quantitative insights into the movement of electronic products and related waste streams.
• Use Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and flow modeling tools to track electronics—from import and distribution to use, reuse, and disposal—highlighting hotspots of informal handling, environmental leakage, and inefficient resource recovery.
• Inform national or city-level circular economy strategies by pinpointing areas for policy, infrastructure, and capacity-building interventions that can enhance resource efficiency, reduce toxic exposure, and support environmentally friendly e-waste management.
