About the role

Compile and write success stories or positive changes of beneficiaries or communities related to the COMDEKS-4 project activities.
Produce written content that can be used for reporting to UNDP/SGP and for social media dissemination.
Reflect the voice and perspective of the community in an easily understandable and engaging format.
Conduct a light desk review by examining progress reports, photos, and summaries of project activities provided by HURREDO.
Interview 3-4 beneficiaries or community members, and conduct on-site meetings as coordinated by HURREDO.
Phone follow-up interviews may occur after community visits.
Collect relevant photos and quotes for inclusion in the case study.
Write 1-2 case studies/success stories in Khmer (approximately 300-350 words each) following HURREDO/UNDP-SGP standard format.
Revise the case study once after receiving feedback from HURREDO.

Requirements

Completion of Bachelor's degree in Rural Development or related fields.
At least 1-2 years of experience in writing success stories, case studies, or communication content for non-profit organizations or development projects.
Proficiency in Khmer writing, with English language ability being an advantage.
Skills in interviewing and knowledge of gender and social inclusion issues.
Include a brief proposal (understanding of Terms of Reference and short work methodology).
