Members of the Board of Directors

• The Board of Directors is the governing body that makes efforts towards keeping VBNK an innovative and credible organization contributing creative learning for the social development sector.
• The Board will support staff in achieving the aims and objectives of the organization and its programs.
• Board members may also act as liaisons with the organization's stakeholders.
• DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Recruit, appoint, suspend, or remove the Director of the Organisation.
• Conduct an annual performance appraisal of the Director.
• Review, approve and monitor annual budgets, and ensure that transparent and accountable financial management systems are in place.
• Approve and adopt all of the policies and procedures of the organisation, and ensure systems are in place for implementation and compliance.
• Assist the staff to generate funds in the form of grants, donations or fees.
• Approve proposals prior to their submission to donors.
• Ensure the proper utilisation, management, accounting and auditing of the income, assets and expenditures of the organisation.
• Create Board committees or ing at its discretion.
