About the role

The Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Officer will serve as the technical focal point for monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning (MEAL) across WP’s projects and organizational programs.
The position will support the implementation of multiple projects in Stung Treng, Ratanakiri, and other project locations as required, while also contributing to the strengthening of WP’s organizational M&E systems.
The M&E Officer will work closely with Project Managers, Program Coordinators, and technical staff to ensure the effective design and implementation of M&E frameworks, data collection systems, performance monitoring, reporting, and learning processes across all projects.
The position will provide technical support and capacity strengthening to project teams to ensure high-quality data collection, verification, analysis, documentation, and reporting in accordance with donor requirements and organizational standards.
The role is responsible for monitoring data quality, tracking project performance against approved indicators and targets, maintaining project databases, and generating evidence to support timely and high-quality monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, annual, and donor reports.
The M&E Officer will also support baseline assessments.
Lead and coordinate monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning (MEAL) activities across WP projects and programs to ensure effective tracking of progress, outcomes, and impact.
Develop, review, and update project and organizational M&E frameworks, results frameworks, indicator tracking tables, data collection tools, and performance monitoring systems.
Support project teams in tracking progress against project indicators, targets, work plans, and donor commitments, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
Lead the planning, design, coordination, and implementation of baseline studies, outcome monitoring, mid-term reviews, endline evaluations, surveys, assessments, and research activities across WP projects and programs.
Develop and apply appropriate methodologies, data collection tools, sampling approaches, and quality assurance mechanisms for baseline, outcome monitoring, endline studies, and other evaluations.
