About the role

Manage and supervise the daily operations of the Accounting Department.
Review and ensure the accuracy of accounting transactions and supporting documents.
Manage Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), cash, bank transactions, and general ledger accounts.
Review bank reconciliations and ensure all outstanding items are properly followed up.
Control and review inventory, fixed assets, purchasing, and related accounting records.
Lead monthly and annual accounting closing processes.
Prepare and review monthly financial statements and management reports.
Prepare and monitor budgets, cash flow forecasts, and actual-versus-budget reports.
Analyze costs, expenses, revenue, and financial performance and report significant variances to management.
Ensure compliance with company accounting policies, internal controls, tax requirements, and applicable regulations.
Coordinate with tax consultants, auditors, banks, suppliers, customers, and relevant departments when required.
Develop and improve accounting procedures, flows, and internal controls.
Supervise, train, and evaluate accounting staff and ensure proper allocation of responsibilities.
Support management with financial information for planning and decision-making.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Accounting experience, including supervisory or management experience for 5 years as a minimum.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow, and internal controls.
Good knowledge of Cambodian taxation and accounting requirements is preferred.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills; experience with Odoo, ERP, or other accounting systems is an advantage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good leadership and team-management skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Honest, responsible, well-organized, and able to maintain confidentiality.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Ability to under deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
