About the role

Assist in the implementation of the Cambodian Marine Mammal Bycatch and Stranding Net.
Assist with the implementation of ongoing bycatch mitigation trials.
Conduct social science surveys, such as questionnaires.
Report writing and dissemination of findings.
Data collection and entry.
Assist with project administration and finances.
Help liaise with community members and government officials.
Assist outreach and training events for fishers and fishing community members.
Support existing and new stakeholder relationships.
Uphold organisation values.
Other responsibilities as identified.

Requirements

Field and data collection skills.
Strong organisational, time-management, and communication skills.
Ability to both independently and in a team.
Computer literacy.
Creativity, proactiveness, and willingness to contribute new ideas.
Motivation to learn new skills and make a positive impact.
Interest in Cambodia’s marine mammals.
Ability to travel for field.
Fluency in English and Khmer (fluency desired, but basic is essential).
University degree in science or a related field (desired but not essential).
Driver’s license (desired but not essential).
