Provide comprehensive pediatric care across the clinic's outpatient, inpatient and emergency services.
Responsible for assessment, diagnosis, treatment, monitoring, stabilization, referral and follow-up of pediatric patients.
Conduct comprehensive pediatric consultations, history taking and physical examinations.
Diagnose and manage common acute and chronic pediatric conditions.
Order and interpret appropriate investigations.
Prescribe safe, appropriate pediatric medication.
Explain diagnosis, medication, treatment plan, and follow-up to parents/guardians.
Arrange follow-up, specialist review or hospital referral when required.
Provide prompt assessment and triage of children presenting with acute or potentially life-threatening conditions.
Assess airway, breathing, circulation, neurological status, vital signs and overall clinical stability.
Initiate emergency treatment and stabilization.
Manage common pediatric emergencies including respiratory distress, dehydration, seizures, allergic reactions, fever-related emergencies and acute deterioration.
Reassess response to treatment and modify management as clinically required.
