About the role

The Collection Manager leads and manages both the Phone Collection Team and the On-Site Collection Team.
This role sets collection strategy, manages team leaders, improves recovery rates, and makes sure collection is done professionally and follows company policy.
Lead and manage the Phone Collection Team and On-Site Collection Team (20+ staff).
Manage, coach, and develop team leaders and their teams.
Build and set collection strategies to increase recovery rates and reduce overdue loans.
Track team performance and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports for senior management.
Analyze overdue loan data to find ways to improve results.
Prepare monthly collection plans and track progress against targets.
Review and approve loan restructuring and bad debt write-off recommendations.
Handle customer requests such as early settlement and other collection matters.
Make sure late fees and penalties are calculated correctly. with other departments to solve collection issues and improve processes.
Keep accurate collection records and ensure full compliance with company policy.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree is required Financial (Banks, Microfinance) for 5 to 10 years is required Proven experience managing a collection team of 20 or more staff.
Experience managing both Phone Collection and On-Site Collection is a strong advantage.
Strong knowledge of collection operations, delinquency management, and recovery strategy.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills.
Able to under pressure and meet collection targets.
Skilled in Microsoft Excel and reporting.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage conflict professionally.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
